Compared with conventional worm‑gear stages, it offers higher rotational speed, zero gear backlash, and superior positioning accuracy and repeatability. With an advanced industrial design, the LART uses thin‑section bearings to reduce friction and save space, while internal high‑precision auxiliary bearings further minimize tilt error. Equipped with high‑precision circular grating feedback, it is available with clear apertures of 100 mm and 200 mm, achieving positioning accuracy better than ±2 arcsec—delivering outstanding performance.

The LART features a well‑engineered structure with strong driving capability, reaching an unloaded maximum speed exceeding 300 rpm—far surpassing worm‑gear stages of comparable size. With linear amplifiers in a vibration‑isolated laboratory environment, it achieves in‑position stability and minimum step size below 0.05 arcsec.

The LART series offers high load capacity and high instantaneous load stiffness, making it suitable for most heavy‑load applications in either horizontal or vertical mounting, as well as applications with offset loads.
