SC5 Series

Linear-Rotary Integrated Stage for Waveguide Processing & Cardiovascular Stent Cutting

The SC5 is a highly integrated precision motion platform combining a linear axis and a rotary axis in one unit. The linear axis is driven by a self-developed linear motor, while the rotary axis employs Coretech’s self-developed high-torque S-type direct-drive motor, delivering fast response and high positioning accuracy. The SC5 rotary axis delivers a peak torque exceeding 20 N·m and a rated speed over 1000 rpm. Both axes utilize direct-drive, non-contact motor and encoder technologies, significantly improving efficiency and maintenance‑free operation over conventional drives. The linear and rotary encoders are mounted directly to the load table, ensuring high system accuracy and repeatability throughout the platform’s entire service life.

The SC5 series supports custom fixtures—such as bushing alignment, manual or automatic material pre‑loading—and works seamlessly with high‑performance motion controllers. It enables easy linear‑rotary 2‑axis interpolation, real‑time position‑based triggering along the synthesized trajectory, and precise synchronization of the laser with the cutting path. Adaptive matching to instantaneous cutting speed maintains optimal laser power coupling and minimizes geometric errors in dense contour features. The SC5 is widely used in waveguide processing and cardiovascular stent cutting.
