SC1 Series
Integrated Linear‑Rotary Stage for Waveguide Processing and Cardiovascular Stent Cutting
The SC1 is a highly integrated precision stage combining a linear axis and a rotary axis in one compact unit. The linear axis is driven by CoreTech’s proprietary direct‑drive linear motor, and the rotary axis by a proprietary S‑type direct‑drive motor, offering fast response and high positioning accuracy. Both axes employ non‑contact direct‑drive motors and encoders, significantly improving efficiency and maintenance‑free operation compared to conventional drives. The linear and rotary encoders are directly mounted to the load table, ensuring high system accuracy and repeatability throughout the platform’s lifetime.
The SC1 series supports custom fixtures—such as bushing alignment and manual or automatic material pre‑loading. Paired with a high‑performance motion controller, it easily performs linear‑rotary 2‑axis interpolation, enabling position‑based real‑time triggering along the synthesized trajectory for precise synchronization of laser and cutting paths. The system adapts to cutting speed to maintain optimal laser power coupling and minimize geometric errors in dense contour features. It is widely used in waveguide processing and cardiovascular stent cutting.
