SLM1500 Series
The SLM1500‑500‑500 is a Cartesian dual‑drive gantry system powered by AC brushless linear motors with non‑contact optical scales, delivering excellent dynamic performance and positioning accuracy. Equipped with high‑precision optical feedback, it achieves full‑stroke repeatability better than ±0.5 μm and accuracy better than ±1.5 μm. The dual‑drive axes can be assembled using standard mechanical stages or with motors, scales, and guides directly mounted on granite. Travel ranges for both the crossbeam and dual‑drive axes are flexibly customizable.
Featuring outstanding industrial design with robust driving capability, the SLM1500‑500‑500 reaches an unloaded maximum speed exceeding 2 m/s and acceleration greater than 2 g. With linear amplifiers in a vibration‑isolated laboratory environment, both crossbeam and dual‑drive axes achieve in‑position stability below 50 nm. Typical applications include micro‑system manufacturing, stent cutting, fuel cell fabrication, pick‑and‑place machines, automated assembly, and vision inspection—where high precision and efficiency are required.
The gantry system is typically paired with a high‑precision Z‑axis or a Z‑axis plus rotary axis. CoreTech offers cable management options to organize motor cables along with customer‑supplied camera, sensor, fiber laser, and air tubing cabling—ensuring a clean, rational, and well‑arranged system layout.
